CORPERSHUB ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
USER CONDUCT, PLATFORM INTEGRITY, SAFETY AND SECURITY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms an integral part of the CorpersHub Terms of Service and applies to all users of the CorpersHub Platform, including but not limited to:
- NYSC Corps Members;
- Businesses;
- Employers;
- Government Agencies;
- Educational Institutions;
- NGOs;
- Platform Visitors;
- Authorized Representatives;
- Third-Party Users.
This Policy establishes standards for lawful, ethical, professional, secure, and responsible use of the Platform.
All Users are required to comply with this Policy at all times.
Failure to comply may result in suspension, restriction, termination, legal action, reporting to law enforcement agencies, or any other remedy available under applicable law.
2. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
The objectives of this Policy are to:
- Maintain trust within the Platform;
- Protect users from fraud and abuse;
- Promote professional interactions;
- Protect user data;
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws;
- Preserve the integrity of the CorpersHub ecosystem;
- Protect CorpersHub's intellectual property and technological infrastructure.
3. GENERAL USER OBLIGATIONS
All Users shall:
3.1 Act Honestly
Provide truthful and accurate information.
3.2 Act Professionally
Maintain professional conduct in all communications.
3.3 Act Lawfully
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3.4 Respect Others
Treat all users with dignity, fairness, and respect.
3.5 Protect Information
Handle personal information responsibly and lawfully.
4. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users shall not engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, deceptive, abusive, unethical, disruptive, or otherwise inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Platform.
Without limitation, the following activities are strictly prohibited.
5. FALSE INFORMATION AND MISREPRESENTATION
Users shall not:
- Provide false information;
- Submit misleading information;
- Create fake profiles;
- Impersonate another person;
- Impersonate a business entity;
- Misrepresent qualifications;
- Misrepresent employment history;
- Misrepresent educational qualifications;
- Misrepresent NYSC status;
- Misrepresent company ownership;
- Misrepresent authority to act on behalf of a business.
6. FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS
Users shall not upload, submit, distribute, or utilize:
- Forged certificates;
- Altered academic records;
- Fake NYSC documents;
- Counterfeit identification documents;
- Forged CAC documents;
- Fraudulent references;
- Falsified verification records;
- Manipulated photographs;
- Misleading supporting documents.
Submission of fraudulent documentation shall constitute a material breach of this Policy.
CorpersHub reserves the right to report such conduct to relevant authorities.
7. FRAUDULENT OPPORTUNITIES
Businesses shall not:
- Publish fake opportunities;
- Advertise non-existent positions;
- Post misleading opportunities;
- Solicit payments from Corps Members;
- Operate recruitment scams;
- Operate pyramid schemes;
- Operate Ponzi schemes;
- Engage in deceptive advertising;
- Conceal material facts regarding opportunities.
8. SOLICITATION OF MONEY
No user shall:
- Demand payment for placement opportunities;
- Request payment in exchange for introductions;
- Sell access to opportunities;
- Offer guaranteed placement for payment;
- Request unofficial fees;
- Solicit bribes;
- Offer bribes.
CorpersHub strictly prohibits any pay-for-placement arrangements.
9. HARASSMENT AND ABUSE
Users shall not engage in:
- Harassment;
- Bullying;
- Intimidation;
- Threats;
- Stalking;
- Defamation;
- Hate speech;
- Abuse;
- Discrimination;
- Retaliation;
- Offensive conduct.
This prohibition applies to:
- Messages;
- Emails;
- Calls;
- Platform communications;
- Uploaded content.
10. DISCRIMINATION
Users shall not discriminate against others based upon:
- Ethnicity;
- Tribe;
- Religion;
- Disability;
- Gender;
- Marital Status;
- Age;
- Nationality;
- Political affiliation;
- Other legally protected characteristics.
Nothing in this provision prevents legitimate opportunity requirements that are lawful and reasonably necessary.
11. UNAUTHORIZED DATA COLLECTION
Users shall not:
- Harvest user information;
- Scrape data;
- Download databases;
- Copy profiles in bulk;
- Build competing databases;
- Use automated extraction tools;
- Mine personal information;
- Access information without authorization.
12. SPAMMING AND UNSOLICITED COMMUNICATIONS
Users shall not:
- Send spam messages;
- Send mass unsolicited messages;
- Send chain messages;
- Send misleading communications;
- Send malicious links;
- Engage in excessive promotional activity.
13. IMPROPER USE OF PLATFORM COMMUNICATIONS
Platform messaging systems shall only be used for legitimate purposes related to opportunities, networking, professional engagement, and Platform activities.
Users shall not use Platform communications for:
- Political campaigning;
- Religious solicitation;
- Commercial advertising unrelated to the Platform;
- Harassment;
- Fraud.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VIOLATIONS
Users shall not:
- Copy copyrighted materials without authorization;
- Upload pirated content;
- Infringe trademarks;
- Misappropriate trade secrets;
- Misuse proprietary information.
Users remain solely responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary rights to uploaded content.
15. MALWARE AND CYBERSECURITY VIOLATIONS
Users shall not:
- Upload viruses;
- Upload malware;
- Upload ransomware;
- Upload spyware;
- Introduce malicious code;
- Distribute harmful software;
- Conduct phishing attacks;
- Conduct cyberattacks.
16. UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS
Users shall not attempt to:
- Gain unauthorized access;
- Access another user's account;
- Circumvent authentication mechanisms;
- Bypass security controls;
- Exploit software vulnerabilities;
- Test Platform security without authorization.
17. REVERSE ENGINEERING
Users shall not:
- Reverse engineer the Platform;
- Decompile software;
- Extract source code;
- Replicate proprietary systems;
- Copy matching algorithms;
- Create derivative systems based upon Platform technology.
18. AUTOMATED ACCESS AND BOTS
Without written authorization from CorpersHub, users shall not:
- Use scraping tools;
- Deploy bots;
- Deploy crawlers;
- Deploy spiders;
- Use automated profile collection systems;
- Conduct automated data extraction.
Reasonable use of officially provided APIs, where available, shall be governed by separate agreements.
19. INTERFERENCE WITH PLATFORM OPERATIONS
Users shall not:
- Overload systems;
- Interfere with Platform operations;
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks;
- Disrupt services;
- Attempt to degrade Platform performance.
20. MISUSE OF MATCHING SYSTEMS
Users shall not attempt to:
- Manipulate Match Scores;
- Artificially inflate rankings;
- Submit misleading information to influence matching;
- Exploit matching algorithms.
CorpersHub reserves sole discretion regarding matching methodologies.
21. PRIVACY VIOLATIONS
Users shall not:
- Share confidential information without authorization;
- Disclose personal data unlawfully;
- Publish private information;
- Violate applicable privacy laws.
Businesses shall use Corps Member information solely for lawful and legitimate purposes connected to opportunities available through the Platform.
22. BUSINESS-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
Businesses shall not:
- Use candidate information for unrelated marketing;
- Resell user information;
- Build private databases from Platform users;
- Share candidate information with unauthorized third parties;
- Misrepresent compensation or opportunity details.
23. CORPS MEMBER-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS
Corps Members shall not:
- Misrepresent NYSC status;
- Submit false credentials;
- Falsely claim qualifications;
- Misrepresent work experience;
- Engage in deceptive applications.
24. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users are encouraged to report suspected violations through official CorpersHub reporting channels.
Reports may include:
- Fraud;
- Harassment;
- Fake opportunities;
- Security concerns;
- Misconduct.
CorpersHub may investigate reported violations at its sole discretion.
25. INVESTIGATION RIGHTS
CorpersHub reserves the right to:
- Review content;
- Verify information;
- Conduct investigations;
- Request supporting documentation;
- Suspend accounts pending investigation;
- Cooperate with regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies.
Users agree to reasonably cooperate with investigations.
26. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
Where violations occur, CorpersHub may:
Level 1
- Issue warnings;
- Request corrective actions.
Level 2
- Restrict account functionality;
- Remove content;
- Suspend accounts.
Level 3
- Permanently terminate accounts;
- Block future registration;
- Report conduct to authorities;
- Pursue legal remedies.
CorpersHub shall determine appropriate enforcement measures at its sole discretion.
27. NO LIABILITY FOR USER CONDUCT
CorpersHub does not control user conduct and cannot guarantee that users will comply with this Policy.
Users interact with one another at their own risk.
CorpersHub shall not be liable for losses arising from user misconduct except where required by law.
28. POLICY MODIFICATIONS
CorpersHub reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
29. GOVERNING LAW
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute arising under this Policy shall be subject to the dispute resolution provisions contained in the CorpersHub Terms of Service.
30. USER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By accessing or using the Platform, I acknowledge that:
- I have read and understood this Acceptable Use Policy;
- I agree to comply with its provisions;
- I understand that violations may result in suspension or termination;
- I understand that CorpersHub may investigate and enforce this Policy as necessary.
