CORPERSHUB PPA PLACEMENT DISCLAIMER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIABILITY WAIVER

1. INTRODUCTION

This PPA Placement Disclaimer, Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver ("Disclaimer") constitutes a legally binding agreement between:

Stratvista Limited

("Corpershub", "Company", "Platform", "We", "Us", or "Our")

and

Any User of the Platform

including:

  • NYSC Corps Members
  • Businesses
  • Employers
  • Organizations
  • Government Agencies
  • Educational Institutions
  • NGOs
  • Platform Users

(each a "User" and collectively the "Users").

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, applying for opportunities, communicating with other Users, accepting opportunities, posting opportunities, or otherwise using the Platform, You acknowledge and agree to the terms contained in this Disclaimer.

2. PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM

Corpershub is a technology-enabled marketplace platform designed to facilitate:

  • Discovery of opportunities
  • Professional networking
  • Communication between users
  • Profile visibility
  • Matching and recommendation services
  • Opportunity listings
  • Introduction of Corps Members to Businesses.

Corpershub merely provides technological infrastructure through which Users may interact.

3. NO AFFILIATION WITH NYSC

Users acknowledge and agree that Corpershub:

  • Is not owned by the National Youth Service Corps
  • Is not operated by the National Youth Service Corps
  • Is not endorsed by the National Youth Service Corps unless expressly stated
  • Is not a representative of the National Youth Service Corps
  • Is not an agent of the National Youth Service Corps
  • Has no authority to act on behalf of the National Youth Service Corps.

Corpershub does not participate in, influence, or control official NYSC deployment decisions.

4. NO PPA ASSIGNMENT AUTHORITY

Users expressly acknowledge that Corpershub does not:

  • Assign Corps Members to PPAs
  • Approve PPAs
  • Reject PPAs
  • Transfer Corps Members
  • Redeploy Corps Members
  • Determine NYSC postings
  • Determine NYSC deployment locations
  • Determine NYSC approval decisions.

All such decisions remain solely within the authority of:

  • The National Youth Service Corps
  • Relevant governmental authorities
  • Participating organizations where applicable.

5. NO RECRUITMENT OR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Corpershub is not:

  • A recruitment agency
  • An employment agency
  • A labour contractor
  • A staffing company
  • A talent outsourcing company
  • A placement consultancy
  • A human resources consultancy.

Corpershub merely provides a platform through which Users may identify and communicate with one another.

6. INDEPENDENT DECISION-MAKING

All decisions relating to:

  • Applications
  • Interviews
  • Selections
  • Rejections
  • Placements
  • Engagements
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Internships
  • Employment opportunities
  • PPA opportunities

are made solely and independently by the Users involved.

Corpershub does not participate in such decisions.

7. NO GUARANTEE OF PLACEMENT

Corpershub does not guarantee:

  • PPA placement
  • Opportunity availability
  • Opportunity suitability
  • Acceptance by any organization
  • Interview invitations
  • Employment offers
  • Placement success
  • Number of applications received
  • Number of opportunities available.

Users acknowledge that no representation, promise, warranty, or assurance of placement has been made by Corpershub.

8. NO GUARANTEE OF MATCH QUALITY

Corpershub may provide:

  • Match Scores
  • Recommendations
  • Suggested opportunities
  • Suggested candidates
  • Ranking systems
  • Automated recommendations.

Such outputs are informational only.

Corpershub does not warrant:

  • Accuracy
  • Suitability
  • Compatibility
  • Quality
  • Success rates.

Final decisions remain exclusively with Users.

9. NO EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP

No employment relationship is created between:

  • Corpershub and Corps Members
  • Corpershub and Businesses
  • Corpershub and any User.

Corpershub shall never be deemed:

  • Employer
  • Co-employer
  • Joint employer
  • Principal employer
  • Labour contractor.

10. USER DUE DILIGENCE

Users are solely responsible for conducting independent investigations and assessments before entering into any arrangement.

Users should independently verify:

  • Business legitimacy
  • Corporate registrations
  • Opportunity details
  • Workplace conditions
  • Compensation arrangements
  • Organizational reputation
  • Location safety
  • Accommodation arrangements.

Corpershub shall not be responsible for verification failures by Users.

11. WORKPLACE CONDITIONS DISCLAIMER

Corpershub does not investigate, supervise, inspect, monitor, control, or guarantee:

  • Workplace conditions
  • Office environments
  • Safety standards
  • Security arrangements
  • Accommodation facilities
  • Transportation arrangements
  • Employee welfare practices.

Users engage with opportunities entirely at their own discretion and risk.

12. COMPENSATION DISCLAIMER

Corpershub does not guarantee:

  • Salaries
  • Stipends
  • Allowances
  • Bonuses
  • Reimbursements
  • Benefits
  • Financial incentives.

Any compensation arrangement is strictly between the relevant Users.

Corpershub shall not be liable for:

  • Non-payment
  • Delayed payment
  • Disputed payment
  • Inadequate payment.

13. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT DISCLAIMER

Corpershub does not supervise user conduct.

Corpershub shall not be liable for:

  • Misconduct
  • Negligence
  • Harassment
  • Defamation
  • Fraud
  • Misrepresentation
  • Discrimination
  • Breach of contract

committed by any User.

14. DOCUMENT AND PROFILE ACCURACY DISCLAIMER

Corpershub relies substantially on information provided by Users.

While verification measures may occasionally be implemented, Corpershub does not warrant the authenticity, completeness, reliability, or accuracy of:

  • User profiles
  • Uploaded documents
  • Academic qualifications
  • Professional certifications
  • Employment history
  • NYSC records
  • Business credentials.

Users assume responsibility for conducting independent verification.

15. THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS DISCLAIMER

Corpershub shall not be liable for acts or omissions of:

  • Employers
  • Corps Members
  • Government agencies
  • NYSC officials
  • Educational institutions
  • Verification providers
  • Service providers
  • Third parties.

16. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By using the Platform, each User voluntarily assumes all risks associated with:

  • Applying for opportunities
  • Posting opportunities
  • Communicating with other Users
  • Attending interviews
  • Accepting placements
  • Entering workplaces
  • Providing information
  • Relying on information obtained through the Platform.

Users acknowledge that such activities inherently involve risks that cannot be entirely eliminated.

17. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Users hereby release, waive, discharge, and forever hold harmless Corpershub and its:

  • Directors
  • Officers
  • Employees
  • Agents
  • Contractors
  • Affiliates
  • Successors
  • Assigns

from any and all claims, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, demands, proceedings, penalties, costs, and expenses arising directly or indirectly from:

Placement Activities

  • PPA placements
  • PPA rejections
  • Redeployments
  • Transfers.

Employment Activities

  • Hiring decisions
  • Employment disputes
  • Internship disputes
  • Volunteer disputes.

Financial Claims

  • Salary disputes
  • Allowance disputes
  • Compensation disputes.

Personal Claims

  • Emotional distress
  • Reputational harm
  • Disappointment
  • Opportunity loss.

Property Claims

  • Property damage
  • Property loss
  • Theft.

Physical Claims

  • Workplace accidents
  • Injuries
  • Illnesses
  • Safety incidents.

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:

Corpershub shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Special damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of opportunities
  • Loss of earnings
  • Business interruption
  • Reputational harm.

Any liability that cannot legally be excluded shall be limited to the amount paid by the User to Corpershub during the preceding twelve (12) months.

19. USER INDEMNITY

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Corpershub against any claims arising from:

  • User misconduct
  • User negligence
  • User misrepresentations
  • Violation of law
  • Violation of Platform policies
  • Disputes between Users.

20. NO WAIVER OF STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing contained herein shall exclude any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Nigerian law.

Any provision found unenforceable shall be severed without affecting the remainder of this Disclaimer.

21. GOVERNING LAW

This Disclaimer shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

22. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any dispute arising from or relating to this Disclaimer shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions contained in the Corpershub Terms of Service.

23. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE

By selecting "I Agree", registering an account, applying for opportunities, posting opportunities, or otherwise using the Platform, You:

  1. Acknowledge that You have read and understood this Disclaimer
  2. Voluntarily accept all risks associated with Platform use
  3. Agree to be legally bound by this Disclaimer
  4. Consent to electronic records and signatures
  5. Agree that electronic acceptance constitutes a valid and enforceable signature under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

USER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I acknowledge that:

  1. I have carefully read and understood this PPA Placement Disclaimer, Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
  2. I understand that Corpershub does not assign, approve, or guarantee PPA placements
  3. I understand that Corpershub is solely a technology platform
  4. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my use of the Platform
  5. I agree to be legally bound by this Disclaimer.
